Teija Niku & Juha Kujanpää

Teija Niku and Juha Kujanpää have collaborated since 2008, including in the folk trio Karuna and the Teija Niku Kvartet. Both are known as distinctive composers with a variety of influences. In a duo setting, their new compositions come into their own as piano and accordion act as equal partners, with Niku and Kujanpää alternating as soloists and accompanists as well as improvising together.
