Janne Ojajärvi

Janne Ojajärvi is a music pedagogue (BSc) specializing in the teaching of harmonica. He teaches harmonica for different age and level players in the metropolitan area. Group lessons are also possible. You can ask Janne for advice on purchasing a new instrument. The music styles and content of teaching instruction are tailored to the needs and interests of the pupil.

Examples of popular music genres: Folk Music, Blues, Rock, Pop, Country, Irish Folk Music.
Janne also teaches a willow flute / overtone flute.

Bass lessons: electric, fretless and double bass

Are you interested on fingerstyle and bow techniques on the double bass? Would you like to learn electric bass and fretless bass techniques? My method focuses on the use of rhythmic and harmonic concepts on improvisation, accompaniment skills and interaction in an ensemble context. The lessons will prepare you to be a versatile bassist with all the fundaments for an international music career:

- Comping and soloing 
- The use of chords on the bass
- Music theory and harmony
- Reading music notation
- Preparation for school entrance examinations and auditions 

I studied bass for several years in USA with figures such as Victor Bailey, Lincoln Goines, Oscar Stagnaro, John Pattitucci and Victor Wooten. I am a researcher on world music styles and its application on bass. My expertise is on acoustic music; genres such as jazz, Latin-American, Brazilian, Flamenco, Middle Eastern, and African music.

Toni Jokiniitty has been teaching flamenco guitar playing since 2003. He offers lessons for both beginners and advanced users. Valeria 'Clarinetta' Conte

Valeria 'Clarinetta' Conte can provide individual and group lessons at any level and all ages. The teaching program is previously agreed with the student/s with special attention to the student/s goals and wishes. She periodically organizes Klezmer music workshops and lead Klezmer dances happenings. Valeria is a BA in classical clarinet (2010, Italy) and MA in global music (GLOMAS 2015, Denmark). She widely travelled the world approaching with success diverse musical cultures and she is actively performing nationally and internationally.
