Introduction
KAôS is a collective of artists from Taiwan, Iran, and Portugal that blends traditional and contemporary folk music from around the world. Ni Jui Hsin (Ray) brings the vibrant Japanese sound of the Tsugaru shamisen, Sara Majidi Nejad shares Persian influences through the Qanun, and João Luís contributes eclectic percussion inspired by community-focused collaboration. Together, they reinterpret ancient melodies through innovative arrangements, storytelling, and multilingual expression.
