Introduction

Solisee is a deep-rooted, soulful, world-wide folk fusion. The band's unique sound can be heard echoes of Finnish folk music as well as Slavic and South American nuances. Solisee grows in coniferous forests and reaches for distant shores, yearns for tomorrow and is influenced by yesterday.

The band has performed at several central live venues in Helsinki, such as Tenho Restobar, Espan lava, Restaurant Sophie, Linna Bar and, among others, at Kaustinen Folk Music Festival, Alppipuisto Perinnekarkelot and Faces Festival. The band's latest single Itkee havupuu has gained visibility on world music playlists such as Putumayo New World Acoustic and reviews on, among others, the world music website Rhythm Passport.
