Triona

Introduction

The Triona ensemble performs old music from the Celtic region (Ireland, Scotland) on harp, mandolin and guitar. The repertoire also includes songs.

One of the great inspirations has been Turlough O'Carolan, a blind Irish harpist, who composed and performed his music while touring castles and inns in Ireland in the 17th-18th centuries.
