Melisa Yildirim is a Turkish kamancha master and improvisation artist. Her style and influences range from Sufi music to Anatolian folk music and contemporary music. Yildirim will perform at the library together with Murat Ermutlu, a renowned Turkish percussionist who has lived in Finland for a long time. They talk about their musical experiences and perform various musical forms and rhythmic structures from Anatolia. The interviewer is Robert Conaway-Bothwell from Itäkeskus Library.
